I read through your testimony and story of you leaving “the truth”. Very interesting reading indeed. I didn’t know of all that you went through to get where you are today. Guess I was just not paying much attention. I’m very sorry for that.

I would like to ask you a question about your testimony though. You mentioned Ruben and the exact nature of his “sin”. I’m surprised that you didn’t mention that when it comes to Dad and his story. Just as bad, don’t you think? Why didn’t you just come right out and say it?

I agree that Dad did become quite a celebrity with his “story” of salvation. I got to the point that I wouldn’t tell it. It disgusted me to think that others just want to hear of the wonderful “catch” that had been made, rather than the story of a man who was dealing with his terrible condition.

I want you to know that I love y’all very much. Though we don’t agree on religious or other philosophy, I do truly appreciate your open and honest desire to search out who you are and address your shortcomings and deal with them. That is the mark of a person truly growing!
